In this presentation,  I will explore the public policies and the legal frame implemented by the chilean democratic governments since 1990 - during the transition of democracy-. Regarding with indigenous people. In this context, I will explore the political mobilization of Mapuche communities in the southern provinces which  have been called by the medias as  “Mapuche Conflict”.
I will shed light on the factors and impacts of public policies. Its  advances and setbacks and possible ways  to built a democratic  solutions.

"I will try to approach to thoughts of Jacques Derrida, which is exposed by the texts of this week “The Structure, Sign and Play”, and second one “Semiology and Grammatology”. The latter correspond to an interview with Julia Kristeva. In general terms, through this reader response I pretend to analyze the main ideas from them, giving at the beginning broad perspectives and after establishing the common points also in their different approaches."

What does political science have to say about the European Union’s crisis? To answer this question, I will explore across this paper some causes of the present crisis of the European Union. Also, I will suggest that the current EU crisis is not only an economics crisis caused by financial reasons, but also is a crisis of legitimacy and governance related to the European institutions and democracy.

La obra es una compilación realizada por el editor Cristián Peralta Celis, y se estructura a partir del trabajo de los veterinarios Alejandro Montero y Rita Moya; los agrónomos Juan Sepúlveda Alcamán y Max Thomet Isla, además, del destacado documentalista y fotógrafo Aldo Oviedo Tejo. El libro contiene dos grandes momentos. El primero, es una síntesis del trabajo desarrollado en los últimos 25 años por el ingeniero agrónomo Juan Sepúlveda Alcamán, quien a partir de conversaciones con mujeres mapuche, aprende y rescata los principios de la alimentación mapuche. Su trabajo revela las enseñanzas ancestrales de las mujeres del territorio quienes son las depositarias de los saberes culinarios.
La segunda parte contiene tres investigaciones aplicadas en torno a baluartes de la alimentación y la culinaria mapuche: la kinwa, el merken y la gallina mapuche, que sintetizan el aprendizaje y el conocimiento generado junto a las comunidades agrícolas a través de procesos participativos
